Doors and Paint Bring "Finish" Closer in Week Seven

Work this week began with installation of interior doors.

Getting started Saturday with the primer coat. All the rooms have folks working away.

About 10:30 a.m.; time to let the primer coat dry take a break for lunch.

Of course, not just the walls get painted. All the trim and shelving material gets initial painting before installation.

Getting the second coat on the living room.

Okay, how many painters with rollers on poles can work in one room? Actually work is being wound up for the day.

Once again we had a wonderful turn out of volunteers, some of whom painted although painting is not their favorite job. With both coats of paint on ceiling and walls, the last task of the day was setting up the interior doors so they could be spray painted. Thanks to all the volunteers we are nearly complete. Special Note: Again the women supporting the volunteers with lunch did a SUPER job. Yum, Yum!
