Together We Thrive because of our Nonprofit Partners

Habitat is honored to partner with some amazing local agencies to help achieve affordable home-ownership and economic empowerment for Albuquerque families. By working together we are able to tap into the power of human connection and strengthen our community at the grassroots level.

Thank you to S.A.F.E. House, Saranam, Fathers Building Futures and Lutheran Family Services for being a resource of hope and support to so many families working to build brighter futures. Collaborating with these agencies has made it possible for low-income families to become first time homeowners with Habitat for Humanity.

S.A.F.E. House

“Habitat for Humanity has been an essential partner with S.A.F.E. House Housing Programs in providing assistance with the transition from being a renter to a successful home owner.

The transition from homelessness to owning your home is a long process but the support and encouragement that starts at S.A.F.E. House continues with Habitat for Humanity staff and volunteers.  I look forward to continuing to see families fleeing domestic violence achieve their goal of safe, stable, and affordable housing through this partnership.” – Anna Jones, Housing Program Manager

Fathers Building Futures

“It is with great honor to partner with Habitat For Humanity.

Together we are changing the lives of fathers coming through our program, giving them a second chance and a new beginning for themselves and their families.”

“Becoming a homeowner and changing your life around is a gift that keeps on giving year after year, and doesn’t come easy. It comes with commitment, hard work, self-discipline, and dedication.” – Joseph Shaw, Executive Director

Saranam

“We are grateful to partner with Habitat for Humanity to continue our work of ending poverty with our alumni community.

It will be amazing to one day work together to build a home for a family who was previously homeless, worked hard to complete Saranam and who continues to work hard for their family.

Our community partners strengthen the ways we both can work to end poverty and create safe ways for families to have homes.” – Tracy Weaver, Executive Director
