Unirac and Affordable Solar Thank You Event
On March 28, 2024 we held a special event in our ReStore to say thanks to Affordable Solar and Unirac for their generous donation to both our ReStore and offices located at 4900 Menaul Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87110.
As a result, we are now operating on solar energy, reducing our carbon footprint and eliminating our dependence on electricity which comes with not only environmental but significant cost savings as well. This event was a way for us to express our gratitude in addition to learning more regarding the benefits of going solar from a community perspective.
Speakers included Doug Champlin, Executive Director for the Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity; Mark Lujan, Board Member for the Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity; Jeffrey Ballard, Product Development Engineer from Unirac and Derek Fannin, Operations Manager from Affordable Solar.
