“We have a lot of repeat customers. You get to know people because they come into the ReStore all the time,” said Julia. “There’s always something to do and it’s never boring.”
“I volunteer because the ReStore staff and other volunteers are friendly and great to work with. I also really like that Restore supports Habitat’s mission to build housing for low-income families who are working hard to get a home,” Lisa, ReStore volunteer.

Bob and Barb are members of our Special Work Assignment Team (SWAT) and have helped build dozens of homes for low-income families. “Rather than get together to have breakfast on a Saturday like some older guys do, those of us on SWAT get together to build homes. There would be something missing in my life if I didn’t have those friends out there on the job site.”
