La Montañita Co-op Chooses Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity for December Round Up for Change Campagin

Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity chosen as La Montañita Co-op’s Round Up for Change Campaign this December

[Albuquerque, December 19] – Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce its partnership with La Montañita Co-op for their Round Up for Change campaign throughout the month of December. Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity was chosen as the beneficiary of La Montañita Co-op’s initiative to support the new construction of homes, an affordable housing solution for families in need.

The Round Up for Change campaign encourages shoppers to round up their purchase totals to the nearest dollar at the register, with the additional change going directly to the selected charitable organization. In the midst of the holiday season, the Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity is grateful for the community support that La Montañita Co-op is contributing to the construction of new homes for families in the community.

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to strengthen the local community and addresses the critical issue of housing insecurity in the greater Albuquerque area.
