What is Women Build?

Women Build provides the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities.

Women Build is a program of Habitat for Humanity International and will be held across the country in May. Affiliates from every state will be building during the week. Imagine the impact!

Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity will be hosting Women Build 2018 at the Mesa del Rio construction site Saturday, May 5 through Saturday, May 12.

How to Participate?

Teams of women (and some men too!) will select one day out of the week to work at the job site, learning how to build and construct a home. No experience is necessary. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and also alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners.

Women Build is a terrific way to involve your friends and family in crucial work with a lasting impact. Women helping women sends a positive and powerful message.
